Having fun at church!

Me, my Mom (Mimi) and the boys went to church on Wednesday evening. They had a special event called "Kid's Zone". We had a WONDERFUL time on the church playground eating snowcones and playing. Here are some cute pictures of the boys.

Welcome Baby Dexton!

Baby Dexton arrived on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 12:28 pm. He was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19.75 inches long. Family is home now getting to know each other. Jaegan is thrilled to be a big sister. And for me .... I can't wait to get my hands on him! Here is a picture of our handsome cousin:

My Mama's Coming!

My Mama comes to visit tomorrow for almost 2 weeks! We have so many things planned with the boys and without. We, of course, need our Mama-Daughter time too. I'm so excited that I wanted to make her a scrapbook layout. Can't wait to see you, Mama!

Wonderful Weekend!

Hi all. We've had a great weekend so far. Yesterday, Jon went golfing and I just relaxed until we went to dinner with friends, who we are traveling to Reno, NV with in September for a mini-vacation. Today we went to Sunday School and church services. As usual, our Pastor gave an outstanding sermon. This afternoon, we've spent most of the day outside in the backyard with the boys and then tonight, we are going to a BBQ that our church is putting together. So, needless to say, its been fun but busy.

I received a new kit to work with called Crayon Box. It was difficult at first to come up with these layouts since the boys don't color as of yet; however, I was just talking to my Mom the other day saying that I wanted to buy a table and chairs for them so they could. This has encouraged me more! Enjoy the layouts....

New Creative Team Member!

I'm so excited to announce that I have been asked to be on another creative team. This designer is Christie Lemmon and she creates wonderful digital scrapbooking kits. I will add her blinkie as soon as I get it. I just received my first kit today to work with (Mud Puddles), so I've made the following layouts:

Pure Brothers

The boys got along so well this past weekend. They were talking to each other, playing nicely, sharing and everything. I wanted to share a couple of cute stories with you.

1. Jackson was trying to get on his little car yesterday. Well, he fell and started crying. Jonathan walked over to him and started pulling on his arm to help him up. It was so adorable.

2. I gave Jonathan two plastic hangers that I was taking their shirts off of and he turned around and gave one to Jackson. It was so nice.

3. Later on, I gave Jackson two crackers. Jonathan then dropped his and the dog got it. He got upset and Jackson walked over to him and gave him one of his crackers.

It just warms my heart to see them interact like that. It is so very special!

My Little Sombreros!

While at the store today, I ran into the boys' Nanny's sister, Annabelle. At times, Annabelle watches the boys for us. Their whole family loves the boys so much. There are many times that they call on the weekend and ask if they can watch the boys or take them to McDonalds. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people nearby that love our babies so much.

When I saw her at the store, she was printing off pictures that she had taken of the twins. She ran over to share them with me. I loved them so much that I thought I would share them with you!*Jonathan and Jackson wearing sombreros.

The past couple of days haven't been so fun around the Wade household. The boys and I have been sick with terrible colds. However, today seems like we are all a little better.

This weekend, Jon's parents drove down from Missouri for a visit. We enjoyed seeing them and the boys loved playing with them. Jackson ended up catching a cold but was still in a mood to play around. Here are some pictures:

I'm a Creative Team Member!

I got the news last Monday that I was selected to be a Creative Team Member for Steel City Scraps. You can see the blinkie on the right hand side of the blog. For those of you who aren't familiar with this, I will explain. Designers that create digital scrapbooking kits for sale seek to hire individuals to create layouts with their kits. As a Creative Team Member, you must submit 2 layouts per month and post them in several different galleries for people to see. The designers hope that others will see these layouts and want to purchase their kits. Here is a page I did with the designer's kit called Romantic Sunset.
