Genius on board!

Hi y'all. Tonight, the boys and I played before bed. As usual, they were full of kisses and hugs for Mommy. I got the camera out to take more pictures. I can't get over just how darn cute they are! Jackson got a hold of my iPod and was trying to put on the earphones to listen to it. I'm convinced that I have genius and a comedian!

A Family Outting!

Hi y'all. Today we went to church and then headed straight to Lubbock. We thought we would take the boys to the mall for some new clothes. It seems they've had a growth spurt because their 18 month old clothes don't fit them anymore. They are now ready for 2toddlers! What, my babies??

We also finally got their hair cut! Yippee! They look like little men now but boy, are they cute! They are the cutest little boys I have ever seen. We got it cut really short on the top so that I can put gel in it to stick it up and very short on the sides. I'm hoping this will thicken their hair up some.

Here are some pictures of our day. They were eating chocolate chip cookies, so their faces are a little dirty. They wouldn't be boys if they weren't, right??

Just a bruised rib!

Hi everyone! Last week I was playing with the boys when Jonathan kicked me in the ribs. It hurt at first but then went away .... so I thought. The next day, my left rib cage was hurting but there wasn't any bruise. However, I couldn't lift my arm, lay on my side, or pick up the boys. I thought I would give it a week, which I did. Finally, since the pain wasn't subsiding, I decided to go to my doc today and have an x-ray. He feels that I severely bruised the area around the bone but will confirm with the x-rays that it's not broken. He prescribed some pain pills to take the edge off but said that it would be very tender for several weeks. He also stated that if it was broken, he would give me the same treatment ... pain pills. There is nothing they can do for a broken rib. He did suggest I wrap it as well. So, another page for the scrapbook.... my 22 month old twins are ALREADY kicking my butt!

Valentine's Day

Hi y'all. We hope you had a sweet Valentine's Day! Ours turned out great! The boys enjoyed their gifts and balloons. They shared their suckers and played with the balloons together. Later, we went to Lubbock in Daddy's new car, which the boys got a kick out of. They can see really well out the back. They watched a movie during our trip to Lubbock, where we ate at Rib Crib and then went to the mall. Jon and I ended up watching two movies later that night after giving the boys a bath and then putting them to bed. Today, I'm hoping to get them some haircuts! My rugrats obviously need them!

Jonathan's New Blankie!

Hi y'all. We received a package in the mail today from my Mom. A couple of weeks ago, I was telling her how Jonathan LOVES zippers. In fact, he has to go to sleep with a jacket so he can rub the zippers to fall asleep. I asked my Mom to make him a blanket that just has zippers on it. Well, we received it today and I can tell you that it was a BIG hit! Jonathan as not let it go since I gave it to him. And when I put him down to bed, I was actually able to retrieve all of our jackets that were around or in his bed. Thanks Mom! You're wonderful!

Also, she made both the boys a pillow each. Each side is embroidered with a happy face and sad face. On the happy face side, it says "Jackson is happy" and then on the other side, it says "Jackson is sad" and the same for Jonathan's pillow. Each morning they are supposed to put in on their bed which ever way they feel. I will take some pictures later of them playing with these too.

Jon's Birthday

Yesterday was Jon's birthday. We sure didn't do much but stay home and play with the boys. Jackson enjoyed reading the paper with Daddy, while Jonathan was off pulling the toys out of the box. Before their bath (of course), we had some birthday cake and ice cream. As you can see, the boys loved it ... just like their Daddy.

Bird Watching!

Hey y'all. This weekend was rather uneventful. However, on Saturday, the weather was nice enough to get the boys out for some fresh air. As you can see by these pictures, they sure had a good time. There were a ton of birds in the trees and the boys got tickled by their loud chirping. They were out there for a couple of hours just enjoying the birds and weather. Oh, I found them both sitting in the trailer watching the birds and eating a piece of bread I had given them. They played really well together this weekend.

Time to Scrapbook!

Hey y'all! Well, we are all getting better now and I've actually had some time to scrapbook! Yippee! The designers have been creating kits so rapidly lately that I had to knock several pages out quickly. Obviously, I need to get my camera out as I've been forced to use old pictures. Here are a couple that I've done within the last two days.

It's February!

Hi y'all. Can you believe it's already February? Boy, is it going by fast!

Well, me and the boys are on the mend. Jackson was in a really good mood this morning and smiling the whole time. It was so good to see him smile again. The last 12 days have been so hard on us but like we always do ... we made it through.

Tomorrow starts a fresh week. Jon and I are excited to get busy on our tasks, as usual. Hopefully, this week will be much calmer than last. But with us, you never know!

Well, I just wanted to let you all know that we SURVIVED.

Do you like the new blog wear that I created??
