Hello y'all! I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while but I have been SO busy around here! Let me take a moment to update you on the Wade family going-ons!
1. Of course, most of you know that I am in my Masters Program. This class that I am currently taking has a lengthy paper due every week besides several other assignments. This class reviews financial statements in depth, which is much of a review for me. However, there are items that I had never come across in my career, so that keeps it interesting. I have some hard classes right around the corner.
2. I'm been accepted as a designer for a digital scrapbooking store online. Out of 69 applications, 9 were chosen .... and I was one of them! I've been so busy trying to get my store up and running. I have a long list of to-dos that are mostly housekeeping items. Once they are done, they only get updated every so often. I will release all the information here so you can check it out!
3. The boys are growing, growing, gone almost! They are a hoot to be with any more. I'm hoping to start watching them 3 days during the week and weekends starting next week. I enjoy playing with them. They have learned so many words and are talking up a storm. They have really begun talking to each other. Yesterday, I sat and watched them have a conversation ... nothing I could understand but they sure could.
Jonathan's favorite word is "No". He constantly tells me "No". Even when I tell him that he better stop telling me no, he says "No". Jackson's favorite saying is, "Aw Man!" It makes me laugh so hard whenever he says it. But the best part is that he says it at the perfect time... when he drops his toy or cookie, falls, if I tell him "No".
4. Jon's doing VERY well at work! The hospital has made money for the past 4 months, so they consider this a trend. It looks like it is turned around for good! He has been playing golf quite a bit lately and is getting good. In the past two weeks, he has played 5 times. The weather is beautiful, so he is enjoying being outside.
5. We are getting ready for Mother's Day and then our trip to Missouri for our niece's, Sydney and Megan's birthdays. When we are there, we are hoping to get a couple of days to ourselves to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary! We are thinking about going to the Chateau for our anniversary. Jon has always thought that we should spend it there since that's where we married. In the last 5 years, we have only missed it one time. Last year, we decided to go on a Western Caribbean Cruise instead.
It seems that there is so much more to say but I've run out of time. Hopefully, this gives you an idea of the happenings!
Have a great day!

Vacation Bible School
I've been asked to be the 'craft lady' for Vacation Bible School this year! I am so excited! Today, I need to pick out the craft packs from Lifeway. I will be instructing 1st thru 6th graders throughout the day. I also get to do some type of frame craft and take pictures of all the kids! Yippee! Did I tell you how excited I am?

Summer Like Days
It has been so beautiful here the last couple of days. It's been in the 80s without any wind. Nice days to be outside!
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I worked on classwork and other little to-dos that I've had. When Jon got home, we went outside and visited before the boys came home. It was so nice that we didn't want to come back inside.
I kept the boys today. I'm hoping that they take a nap so I can get some more classwork done. They slept good last night. Jack only cried out once at about 4 am but I didn't need to get up. Hopefully they will get into another routine of sleeping through the night! It sure would be nice!
Have a great day all!

Auxiliary Banquet
Last night, Jon and I attended the Auxiliary Banquet at the hospital. There were approximately 30 people there for the dinner. They said good-bye to their previous board and welcomed in the new board. Jon gave an EXCELLENT speech about the status of the hospital and they were all excited about the great news. The Auxiliary Volunteers were so happy that Jon and I came to the banquet. They made many comments on how wonderful Jon was and how lucky they are to have him. Several also said that we were the most attractive couple. :) Aren't they sweet? ha-ha.

Me and My Mom
Here is a picture of me and my Mom that Jon took of us the other night. When we went to the Country Club for brunch after church yesterday, a man that attends our church wanted to meet my Mom. He said, "Wow, your Mother sure is young!" I said, "Yes, she's as beautiful as ever!"
It's a sad day!
Hi y'all. Well, today is a sad day for me! My Mom is leaving us and heading back home. No matter how long she stays, it always seems like it wasn't long enough! Not only will I miss her, but the boys sure will. They have gotten quite accustom to her being here. Jonathan has become her little sidekick and they LOVE calling her by name. Jonathan calls her 'Mimi' and Jackson calls her 'Meme'. It is the sweetest sound ... well, except when they say 'Mama'!

New Swing Set!
Hello y'all. We had a great time celebrating the boy's 2nd birthday! They were so excited at all the gifts they received. We purchased them this swing set since they love being outside. My Dad, Mom and I put it together on Monday. Of course, the boys helped!
I'm so proud of my parents! They've been divorced for years and still managed to come together for the sake of the twins. Both of them wouldn't have missed their birthday for anything. It was really nice. Thanks Mom (Mimi) and Dad (Papa)!

Our Garden and the Boss!
It's me again. Today, we planted our garden. Of course, we were lucky to have Jonathan's supervision and direction. As you can see in the first picture, he instructed Daddy exactly how many seeds to plant and how deep to plant them. After, Jonathan helped Daddy water the seeds but Daddy wasn't doing a good enough job. Therefore, Jonathan took the hose away from him as you can see below. After this exhausting project, Jonathan decided to take a break in his swing.

Easter Egg Hunt!
Hi everyone! Today was the big Easter Egg Hunt at Jon's hospital. Today was nice and sunny but REALLY windy! Jonathan and Jackson almost got blown over several times while we waiting for the egg hunt to start. They got 6 eggs between them both. That is pretty good since this was their first year. I'm sure they will get more on Easter now that they know what to do. The first egg that Jack got, opened up and he saw the candy. He quickly forgot about all the other eggs and only wanted me to 'open' his candy. As soon as Jonathan realized that candy was in the eggs, he ran from egg to egg.
Oh, yes, you're eyes are not playing tricks on you. The boys both got a buzz cut this morning. Yes, they are bald and cuter than ever. Their hair grows so fast but it is so thin. From what several hairdressers have told me, I should buzz it several times to thicken it up. Well, it worked on me when I was a kid (Pixie)!

Planting a garden....
Over the last year or so, Jon and I had talked about planting a garden but I was never too keen on the idea since I know nothing about it. However, while I was in California, I watched Good Morning America and they were showing how easy it was to start your very own garden. I immediately got excited and thought the boys would love to help. So, when I got home, I told Jon, who, of course, was thrilled. To make it more interesting, I was reading my 'Family Fun' magazine yesterday and there was a long article about starting a garden for your kids. They listed 7 reasons as to why this is a fun project but very educational too. So, we are planting our garden this weekend. I am making my list today of the necessary supplies I need to get started. I will keep you posted on how its going ..... or should I say 'growing'!
